Monitors vehicular traffic levels against pedestrian traffic and controls intersection with regards to safety and control of vehicles. Answers a variety of questions, generally repetitive questions and usually require use of a limited variety of facts, figures, events, circumstances, personalities and characteristics identified with Sequioa and Kings National Parks. Provides a variety of pre-established formal talks to groups of up to 50 people or more. A pre-established formal talk covers a topic that falls within the interpretive themes of Sequoia and Kings National Parks. Provides a wide range of services to visitors, including assistance with lost articles, lost parties or first aid. The National Park Service has determined that the duties of this position are suitable for telework only during an emergency or natural disaster. Travel, transportation & relocation expenses will not be paid. Relocation expenses will be the employee's responsibility. All qualifications must be met by 11:

Qualifications:
Experience:
At least one year of full-time general experience equivalent, to at least the GS-03 level in the federal service, performing progressively responsible clerical, office or other work which has given me the ability to acquire the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the duties of a Traffic Control Aid. General experience includes greeting the public, disseminating information, and providing directions. You must include hours per week worked. -OR- EDUCATION:
Successful completion of at least two years of education above high school (60 semester hours or 90 quarter hours). This education was obtained in an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, college, or university. (You MUST submit a copy of your transcripts indicating number of credit hours in order to qualify based on education). You must include transcripts. -OR- Successful COMBINATION of education and experience. For example, 6 months of the general experience described in A above (50% of the experience requirement), and 1 year of college study from an accredited institution (50% of the qualifying education) as specified in B above, equals 100% of the total requirement. Experience:
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. You must include months, years and hours per week worked to receive credit for your work and/or volunteer experience. One year of specialized experience is equivalent to 12 months at 40 hours per week. Part-time hours are prorated. You will not receive any credit for experience that does not indicate exact hours per week or is listed as varies. No additional credit is given for overtime. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
